Jun Liu, Ph.D., received the Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry (SIOC), Chinese Academy Sciences, in 2014. He then joined the Cui lab as a postdoctoral scholar in 2015 and left the program in 2020. He was the leading contributor in the development of heparanase probes in the Cui lab at the University of Florida.
