Parisa Rashidi

Parisa Rashidi, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Florida. She received her Ph.D. in computer science with an emphasis on machine learning.  She is the co-director of the Intelligent Critical Care Center (IC3) and the director of the Intelligent Health Systems Lab (i-Heal) which develops machine learning and artificial intelligence methods for solving healthcare problems. Her research aims to bridge the gap between machine learning and patient care.
