Tania Quesada

Tania Quesada, Ph.D., is a research assistant scientist in Forest Genetics and Pathology in the School of Forest, Fisheries, and Geomatics Sciences (FFGS) at the University of Florida. She worked as a postdoctoral associate at the FFGS coordinating the Forest Biology Research Cooperative (FBRC) and doing research on genetics of disease resistance traits. Her current research focuses on using genetics, genomics, and molecular biology tools to better understand host-pathogen relationships and to identify potential disease resistance genes in pine trees.
