Tania Quesada

Tania Quesada, Ph.D., is a research assistant scientist in Forest Genetics and Pathology at the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in plant molecular and cellular biology from the University of Florida in 2010. Her research interests molecular biology, forest pathology, and genetics to better understand dispersal of airborne fungal spores host-pathogen relationships, and to identify potential disease resistance genes in pine trees. She also coordinates the Forest Biology Research Cooperative at the University of Florida.
