Dean Gabriel

Dean W. Gabriel, Ph.D., is both a professor for the University of Florida’s Department of Plant Pathology and Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology Program and founder and founder of Integrated Plant Genetics, Inc. (IPG). Dr. Gabriel earned his undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. from the Michigan State University in 1974, 1976, and 1981, respectively. His primary research interests include the genetics, physiology, and molecular biology of bacteria and plant/microbe interactions.
