Huiyong Jia

Huiyong Jia, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. He joined Dr. Julie Maupin’s lab after finishing his first postdoctoral work in the Department of Biology at Emory University. Dr. Jia specializes in gene manipulation and function study of proteins with relation to evolution and regulatory network in procaryotic organisms.
