Janise McNair

Janise McNair, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. She received her Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2000. She is a faculty board member the University of Florida Nelms Institute for the Connected World, and co-PI of the Florida site of the NSF Center for Space, High-performance, and Resilient Computing (SHREC), which is one of the most successful NSF Centers of its kind. She directs the Wireless and Mobile Systems Laboratory and her research interests focus on wireless and mobile networking, next generation wireless systems, and medium access control protocols.
