Kendall Nettles
Kendall Nettles, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Cancer Biology at the Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation and Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in cancer biology from the University of Chicago in 2003. Dr. Nettle’s lab’s research focuses on structure-based approaches to designing novel therapeutics to improve outcomes of cancer patients with treatment-resistance cancers including prostate and breast cancers, whose growth may be affected by stress or sex hormones. They are also working to improve the safety profile of steroid medications used to treat inflammatory conditions.
