Luis Martinez

Luis Martinez, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Oral Biology at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He earned his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2006. He received many awards and grants, including most recently the UPET-Outstanding Performance Award from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2019. His research interests include central nervous system fungal infections, fungal biofilms, and fungal pathogenesis and immunology.
