Mica McMillan

Mica McMillan, Ph.D., is an assistant professor and palm horticulture specialist at the University of Florida’s UF | IFAS Fort Lauderdale Research and Education Center. She earned her Ph.D. in soil and water science at the University of Florida in 2016. Her research focuses on the nutrition and water stress of palms and ornamental plants, as well as novel media and chemistries that improve water distribution and nutrient uptake to improve plant health and yield.
