Xavier Martini, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida. He earned a Ph.D. in ecology from the University of Toulouse and completed his M.S. in entomology at the University of Tours in France. His research focuses on different insect pest vectors of plant pathogens. The common ground of the program involves applied ecology and the development of environmentally sound methods to control these pests.
