Coralie de Hemptinne
Coralie de Hemptinne, M.S., Ph.D., is an assistant professor at the Normal Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at the University of Florida. Prior to coming to UF, she earned a bachelor’s degree in biology form the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, followed by an M.S. and Ph.D. in neuroscience from the Universite Catholique de Louvain. She subsequently became a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco working in the group of Dr. Philip Starr. Dr. de Hemptinne’s research is devoted to developing neuromodulation strategies for Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses.
