Nian Wang

Nian Wang, Ph.D., is an Endowed Chair professor in the Microbiology and Cell Science Department and the Citrus Research and Education Center at the University of Florida. Dr. Wang earned his master's degree in plant pathology from the China Agricultural University in Beijing and his doctorate, also in plant pathology, from Texas A&M University. He researches the molecular genetics and functional genomics of plant-bacteria interactions with a focus on citrus greening and citrus canker.
