Narendra Battula

Narendra Battula, MBBS, MRCS, MD, FRCS, was an assistant professor in the University of Florida's Division of Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery. He received his medical degree from Manipal Medical University in India and a doctorate in medical research from King's College London. Dr. Battula completed his general surgery residency in the United Kingdom and fellowships in hepato-pancreatic-biliary surgery and liver transplantation at University Hospitals Birmingham, UK, and Ochsner Health System in New Orleans. His clinical interests include living donor and pediatric liver transplantation, while his research focuses on organ preservation and reconditioning using normothermic liver allograft machine perfusion.
