Xiaoying Liang

Xiaoying Liang, Ph.D., was a professor at the University of Florida. She is now at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She earned her Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the University of Paisley in 2001. Dr. Liang is certified in Therapeutic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology since 2012. She received the Exemplary Teacher Award and the Medical Physics Clinical Award from the University of Florida in 2019. She is a member of several professional committees, including the Medical Physics Subcommittee of NRG Oncology and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. Her research interests include particle beams in medical physics.
