Ramon Sun
Ramon C. Sun, Ph.D., serves as the director of the UF Center for Spatial Biomolecule Research and Associate Professor of Biochemistry Molecular Biology at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Australian National University in 2010, followed by his Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Sun's research studies signaling pathways involved in complex carbohydrate metabolism and their connection to aging-related diseases. Before joining the faculty at the University of Florida’s Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology faculty, he was an associate professor at the University of Kentucky.
