Eiko Alzamora

Eiko Alzamora is a Ph.D. candidate in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida, working under the mentorship of Dr. Lakiesha Williams. Her research focuses on advanced image analysis techniques for quantifying neurobiological structures and behaviors, particularly in the context of traumatic brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease, and neuromechanics. She is part of the Williams Lab, which investigates the mechanistic underpinnings of brain injury, Alzheimer’s disease and recovery.
