Jasmine McTyer

Jasmine McTyer is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Florida. She joined the Stoppel Lab in Fall 2022 after she received her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University. McTyer is working on biomaterial formulations from novel silk sources as part of the lab’s NIH NIGMS MIRA Award, seeking to understand cell-material interactions in these new biomaterials.
