Zhanao Deng

Zhanao Deng, Ph.D., is a professor of environmental horticulture at the UF | IFAS’ Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. He received his Ph.D. in horticulture (plant breeding and genetics) from the Huazhong Agricultural University in 1988. His research focuses on developing new ornamental plant cultivars for Florida growers and consumers.
