Keril Poukalov, Ph.D., was a graduate research assistant at the University of Florida in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. He received his bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Florida in 2017, and then his Ph.D. in Medical Science (concentration in genetics) from the University of Florida in 2022. His research interests include neuromuscular disease gene therapy, developing efficient gene editing methods, and nuclear-targeted gene therapies.
