Elizabeth Delgado, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for NeuroGenetics at the University of Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in molecular genetics and microbiology under the mentorship of Dr. Eric Wang and Dr. Andy Berglund. Dr. Delgado’s research focuses on the molecular mechanisms underlying myotonic dystrophy, with an emphasis on therapeutic development for DM1 and DM2. Her work integrates RNA biology and translational approaches to uncover disease variability and improve treatment efficacy.
