Piyush Jain, Ph.D., Piyush Jain is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. His research focuses on generating insights and solutions to problems with genome engineering, specifically Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats (CRISPR) and Cas systems with applications in science, medicine, agriculture, biotechnology, and biomanufacturing.
