Dan Hofstetter, P.E., is an assistant professor of agricultural operations management in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Florida. He earned his Ph.D. in agricultural and biological engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2017. His research interests include smart agriculture and recent advances in technology that made microcontrollers, sensors, CAD, 3D printers, cameras, computer hardware, and simulation software widely available and affordable for teaching and field research.
