Thomson Paris, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Entomology and Nematology at the University of Florida. He earned a Ph.D. in entomology from the University of Florida, where he also completed his master’s degree. His research focuses on taxonomic entomology, biodiversity, and science communication. Prior to his current role, Dr. Paris worked as a laboratory technician with the Florida Department of Agriculture and contributed to insect curation efforts in museum settings.
