Amanda Ojeda, Ph.D., is a microbiome researcher in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. Dr. Ojeda graduated with her Ph.D. in microbiology and cell science in 2022 from the University of Florida. Dr. Ojeda’s research interests include the microbiome, public health, food safety, and cell science. Dr. Ojeda has five years of laboratory experience and overseas experience conducting public health studies in Ethiopia. Dr. Ojeda also has numerous publications on antibiotic resistance.
