Amanda Ojeda is a microbiome researcher and Ph.D. student working under Dr. Roesch in the Department of Microbiology and Cell Science at the University of Florida. She holds an MS and MPH from the University of Florida and is a T32 scholar. Her research interests include the microbiome, public health, food safety, and cell science. Ms. Ojeda has five years of laboratory experience and overseas experience conducting public health studies in Ethiopia. She also has numerous publications on antibiotic resistance.
