Karen Koch, P.h.D., is a professor of plant physiology and molecular biology at the University of Florida. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in botany (plant physiology) from the University of Iowa, followed by postdoctoral research in agronomy and genetics at the University of Wisconsin. Her research focuses on the physiology and genetics of sugar metabolism, sensing, and partitioning in plants.
