Scott Latimer, Ph.D., was a postdoctoral researcher in the Dr. Gilles Basset Lab in the Department of Horticultural Sciences within the Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences at the University of Florida. Dr. Latimer earned his Ph.D. degree in plant molecular and cellular biology from the University of Florida in 2019. His research interests include quinone biosynthesis, synthetic biology, and the development of microbial and plant systems for agricultural and nutritional applications.
