Jingwei Fu, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral associate in the Horticultural Sciences Department at the University of Florida. He received his Ph.D. in horticultural sciences from the University of Florida in 2024 and his M.Sc. in environmental science from Nanjing University in 2017. Dr. Fu’s research focuses on plant molecular biology, synthetic biology, and biofortification, with a strong emphasis on arsenic hyperaccumulation and detoxification in plants, plant transformation, and carotenoid metabolic engineering.
