Tomas D Martin, M.D., is a professor of surgery in the division of thoracic and cardiovascular surgery at the University of Florida and director of the UF Health Aortic Disease Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, followed by surgical and vascular surgery residencies at Baylor College of Medicine and a thoracic surgery fellowship at UF. His clinical and research interests focus on aortic and valve surgery, complex adult cardiac surgery, and aortic aneurysms and dissections.
