Rosanna Marsella, D.V.M., is a board-certified veterinary dermatologist and a professor at the University of Florida, Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. She earned her DVM from the University of Milano, Italy in 1991. She has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and has written several books and contributed to many others as either author or editor. She has served as president of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and co-editor of Veterinary Dermatology. Her research interests include the immunology of allergic skin diseases, canine atopic dermatitis, and pathogenesis and novel treatments for these conditions.
