Sebastiano Intagliata, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He earned his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences and M.S. in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology from the University of Catania in Italy. Dr. Intagliata’s research focuses on medicinal chemistry, drug discovery and development, and the design of novel sigma-1 and sigma-2 receptor ligands as potential treatments for pain, drug abuse, and CNS disorders.
