Sushobhan Mukhopadhyay, Ph.D., is an assistant scientist in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. He earned his Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from CSIR–Central Drug Research Institute in India in 2020, following his M.S. and B.S. degrees in chemistry from the University of Kalyani, India. Dr. Mukhopadhyay’s research focuses on drug development, medicinal and organic chemistry, and substance use epidemiology, particularly involving opioids.
