Vernon Crasto, Ph.D., is a Graduate Research Assistant in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering within the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering at the University of Florida. Dr. Crasto earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida in 2026. In 2025, he was awarded the IMG (Interdisciplinary Microsystems Group) Excellence in Research Award. His research focuses on electromagnetics, electromechanics, and embedded systems to provide wireless charging solutions for agriculture-based applications.
