Clinton Smith is a biomedical engineering Ph.D. candidate and graduate assistant in Dr. Lewis’ Immuno-maodulatory Biomaterial Laboratory in the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida. His research centers on developing advanced CNS drug-delivery systems, utilizing fungal-based nanotherapies to navigate the blood–brain barrier for treatment of neurological disorders such as ALS.
